Drumnadrochit, Scotland

Another weekend, another visit up into the highlands. We caught the train from Glasgow to Inverness (the Highland Capital) and then took a bus to a small town called Drumnadrochit (pronounced drum-na-drock-it), which is an ideal place to visit Loch Ness.

There are quite a few good hills to climb around the town which offer panoramic views to Loch Ness and the surrounding valley. Really beautiful scenery, spend a good half day here and then make your way down to Urquhart Castle.
